Local Governments save the Florida International Festival

Sept. 14, 2007 - Recently United Arts of Central Florida got an infusion of money from Orange County to make up for a shortfall caused by state mandated property tax cuts.
It's not the only Central Florida arts group to be rescued by local government this summer the other was the Florida International Festival in Daytona Beach.
But its money woes stemmed from an entirely different situation.
